evaluating myself

when i was coaching at st philips i was doing determination and i done shuttle runs, i thought the lesson went very well as i was doing it on my own and preferd it on my own because there is then knowone who can confuse or distract you, i also felt very confident on my own, i thought i had a good way of communicating with the kids during the lesson, and i asked if they new what dettermination means before we started, and if they didnt know i would tell them, when they were racing i would hype them up by telling them to cheer there team on and make them want to win more as it they find it more fun and exciting.

im going to nominate "steve moore", as i think he is a great youth worker and would deserve to have the honour of walking out in front the whole nation and make his family and friends proud.

when im analysing dan I will be looking out for.

1. confidence,
2. leadership,
3. personal skills,
4. pushing your self to the limit, whilst be out of your comfort zone, 
5.  being good at thinking on the spot.
6. comunication with the kids.

I will also be looking to perfrom these skills myself.
I though dan had a good conection with the kids, he spoke very clearly and explained the activity very well, he also had a good way to banter with the kids aswell.
to improve for next time he could prepare abit earlyer and and think about what he wanted to do so he could make it as enjoyable as possible.

olympic value festival evaluation

yesterday me and jed was looking at excellence we took the session as a bit of a laugh to try and make the pupil laugh to get them in a happy mood.
we did football keep ups, you would set your self a target then trya and beat that target you will get a few atempts it, then they would get into pairs and try and keep the ball up together, then we would all get in a circle and try and keep the ball up together.
i think next time we could plan the session abit better and if we had abit more time, took it abit more seriously and explained it abit better, and get the session moving abit quicker.
